Biography

welcome, thank you for visiting, gracias, takk
i'm a photographer based out of the twin cities in minnesota. in december of 2006 i got my first ever dslr, a nikon d40, which was released earlier that week. from there i took "pix" at a few concerts, a few shots of flowers, and a couple randoms at family events. nothing too serious. randomly i was given a chance at a photography company in grafton, wisconsin. this interest rapidly developed into a passion from the experiences that were created solely because of a camera. the studio i worked for taught me the real way to use a camera, and not using it in "automatic." i eventually upped the buck and bought a nikon d200, which has become much like a child to me.

i've assisted shoots in the yard of a $12 million mansion, in the dirt of a cow farm, on a racetrack with scooters flying past me, and many more. the chances i've gotten, the people i've met and the images i've created/helped create have formed this passion inside of me. every day i pick up my camera and say this is what i did yesterday, now what should i do today?
